About Me

I aim to work in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a clean, safe, loving, home-like environment where everyone feels valued.

 

I was registered with Ofsted for 11 years but am now registered with Rutland Early Years Agency. My qualifications include Level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare, 12 hour Paediatric First Aid, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Food hygiene, Prevention of Radicalisation, Level 3 EYFS Teaching Diploma, Level 3 Child Psychology Diploma, Level 3 Award in play work.

 

I always like to take the children out whenever I can, weather permitting. We often visit local toddler groups and playgrounds and sometimes visit the local farm where the children love to spot the animals.

Activities

To ensure your child is adequately stimulated throughout the day, we will carry out a wealth of activities together ranging from painting and drawing through to cooking and singing.

Inside, we love arts & crafts, song time, baking, building, puzzles, soft toys, dressing up, den making, as well as open-ended play, construction, dolls and play kitchen.

Outside we have a fully equipped secure garden with a lovely wooden playhouse containing play kitchen & food, babies & pushchair, ride on toys, sand & water play etc.

 

Pick-ups and drop-offs

I pick-up and drop-off at Bure Park Primary School & Nursery. Others in the area may be considered.

We will be splashing in puddles, learning about shadows, looking at rainbows, building snowmen, painting the trees, playing with ride-a-longs, and generally having lots of fun throughout the changing seasons of the year.

Baby's Days is an amazing online software system allowing Childminders to complete all areas of the EYFS quickly and efficiently including structure of learning, development and care.
